How I started My Business — Don’t Overthink It

Hello!

After coming back from a 7‑month trip abroad I decide to start my own business in 2014. I had zero experience but wanted to do something with hair. I ordered  bundles online but I was not impressed. I then decided to visit India in person since India has the best hair quality. A couple of weeks later me and my partner were on the way to India. I did not have a business name or perfect written business plan yet, but decided just to go for it.

Now 10 years later I’m still the proud owner of Be unbeweaveable, I also have the same supplier that I sourced in India. I have a natural hair line for Afro hair, make custom wigs, teach Wig Master Class online and in-person and I wrote an E‑book. 10 years ago I never imagined that I would be where I am today.

You don’t need to wait for the perfect time, it is important to start and to be willing to work hard since having your own business comes with a lot of ups and downs.

My complete story on how I started can be read on my website (Click here), but I hope to inspire at least one person with my e‑mail. If you really want something, just go for it. We only have one life to live so write your best story.

warm regards,

Be unbeweaveable
